Refund and Cancellation Policy

Vour provides a digital gift-card service. A guest payment is the voluntary gift amount plus the disclosed ₹10.00 platform/service fee and any applicable taxes or charges shown before checkout. Payments are collected through Razorpay. Recipient settlement is separate and depends on Razorpay Route approval and onboarding. Payment collection does not mean the gift has been transferred to the couple’s bank account.
When a guest can cancel
A guest can cancel checkout before Razorpay captures the payment. If payment is not captured, no amount is charged and no refund is required.
Closing the payment window after a payment has already been captured does not cancel the charge. Cancelling or disabling an event does not automatically reverse payments that have already been captured.
When a guest can request a refund
A guest can email mohamedanastsi@gmail.com to request a refund in these situations:
- A payment failed, but money appears to have been debited.
- The same gift payment was captured more than once.
- A payment was captured and the guest wants that charge reviewed before or after the digital card is generated.
Include the payment reference, payer name, event details and the reason for the request. Requests are reviewed individually. They are not approved automatically, and submitting a request does not by itself cancel the payment or the digital card.
A failed-payment review depends on reconciliation with Razorpay and the payer’s bank. Duplicate captured payments can be investigated when provider records support the request.
What may be refunded
An approved refund can cover only the amount that was captured and that can still be returned through Razorpay. Vour does not promise a refund of every gift or fee.
- The ₹10.00 platform/service fee pays for the digital card and platform service. After the digital card is generated or delivered, that fee may be non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
- The gift amount is a voluntary contribution for the event hosts. It is not automatically refundable. If that amount has already been settled to the recipient, it may not be refundable.
How an approved refund is paid
If a refund is approved, Vour initiates it within 5–7 business days of that approval. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method through Razorpay. Vour does not send refunds to a different account or as cash.
The time for the credit to appear can vary depending on the payment provider and the payer’s bank. The 5–7 business days are the time to initiate an approved refund, not a promise of when the bank will credit the account.
Event cancellation
Hosts can disable further contributions from the event dashboard. Disabling contributions stops new guest payments. It does not automatically reverse payments that were already captured, and it does not automatically reverse a gift that has already been settled to the recipient.
